# Rollback

Before semantic core, the STEP restores the three replaced VM121 source files from the timestamped backup, removes the two newly introduced service files, force-recreates the backend generation and requires `/health` + `/health/db` recovery.

After `CORE_CHANGE_COMPLETE=true`, late machine-close/publication/postcheck failures are continuation-only and must not automatically restore accepted source.

No production DB, VM100, VM101, live `.env`, SMTP credential or admin credential is modified by this STEP.
