# VM101 methods — operations toolset baseline

Production scripts remain BusyBox ash compatible. The package baseline supplies full utilities that repeatedly caused STEP failures or are used for diagnostics.

Guaranteed after this STEP:
base64, stat, timeout, realpath, readlink, sort, nl, diff, gawk/awk, jq, curl, tcpdump, dig, ip-full, pgrep, pkill and watch.

Package policy:
- install named missing packages only;
- never perform whole-system package upgrades;
- verify exact command behavior;
- preserve Machine Git commit/tree so the rebuilt R15A R03 bundle can be rerun.
